We have a very comfortable Restaurant for formal Dining, Meals can also be taken in our warm Bar. You can choose from a freshly cooked steak to a simple sandwich. We now offer late night snacks from our bar that are all cooked fresh to order. Ranguing from pizzas to spring rolls.

The Bar

We have a friendly Bar at th front of the Hotel, serving not only guests but local cliental as well. We have a choice of Real Ales that we change to high light the local selection of locally produced ales. Cocktails are made fresh by our highly trained Staff. We also have a pool table, Dart Board and upto date jukebox. All TVs are linked to the sound system for the ultimate viewing experience

The Hotel provides a selection of rooms. Starting with a snug single to our impressive Bridal Suite. All rooms are en-suite.

Function Room

Wanting to hold a party. We have our own function room that can cater for over 100 people, even if its only a small party we can cater for that as well. We will provide a private bar and look after all your requirements. We can provide food, anything from a simple buffet to a full multi course sit down meal. Just ask our special team for more information.

We are showing All the games on our 3 large TV's and also on our projector. We are also providing surround Sound.

IF ever you're passing the White Hart Hotel in the middle of Gainsborough and see a couple of women beckoning to you from a first floor window, you might want to take a closer look.

Word has it that these are 'ladies of the night' looking for business.

But there's no modern-day scandal here, these are allegedly the ghosts of women who earnt their living from the oldest profession generations ago.

They are among several spirits which have been seen, heard, or 'felt' at the Lord Street hotel, which dates back to the early 1800s.

 "We had glasses shattering, one of them was in a barmaid's hand, and people's mobile phones suddenly stopped working."

"We had a lady in the restaurant saying she felt something round her throat, as though she was being strangled, which could be linked to the fact that somebody is supposed to have hanged themselves in one of the bedrooms."

"In another of the bedrooms we had people saying they couldn't breathe and we discovered there was a false wall. When this was removed there was a small room behind with an old typewriter in it and lots of cobwebs, but we don't know why it was bricked up or what it was used for. Perhaps it was someone's study."
